Opera on pillows
We are inviting youngest fans of music, dance and singing to the workshops entitled “Opera on pillows”. It is an art education program for participants of 4-6 years of age which introduces children to the world of opera in the form of fun. The workshops combine elements of dance and physical activities, art classes and dance and singing classes. All classes are thematically related to one of the plays from the repertoire of the theatre, e.g. Cinderella, Nutcracker, Snow White, Don Quixote; children become familiar with costumes and props from a given show, listen to pieces of music, dance and sign, create works of art related the subject of the meeting. Classes are held in a special room dedicated to educational activities.
Duration of courses: 1 hour (including a short break for children)
Price – PLN 15 per participant, group leaders free of charge.

- 16 March 2019, 12:30 a.m. – Cabin Full of Fairy Tales (Chatka pełna bajek)
Art, music and movement workshops with ecodesign elements inspired by the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Using cardboard boxes children build spatial forms – forest cabins for dwarfs and other fairy tale heroes.
- 13 April 2019, 12:30 a.m. – Boxtrolls and Tilting at Windmills (Pudłaki i walka z wiatrakami)
Art and movement workshops inspired by Don Quixote. Using cardboard boxes, children make masks, with elements of collage, assemblage and painting.
- 18 May 2019, 12:30 a.m. – Parrot Lake (Jezioro papuzie)
Art and movement workshops inspired by the stage set for Magic Box and Swan Lake ballet music by Piotr Tchaikovsky. Children make bird masks using coloured tissue paper and artificial feathers and a parrot costume in order to appear on a crazy and colourful video clip.

Arts and theatre workshops with ecodesign elements inspired by Polish cartoons. Children will make puppets inspired by heroes of well-known and popular fairy tales using recyclable materials.
